Liu Ching

She entered the Riyueyuan Opera Troupe to learn Taiwanese opera, under the stage name Xiao Chunmei. Because Taiwan Union producer Lai Guocai and director Liang Zhefu took liking to her during the art training period, she got the main character role in the Taiwanese opera film. During the two years, Liu Ching performed more than 30 Taiwanese opera films, both in the male and female roles.
