Mark Richardson

Mark Hunter Richardson, nicknamed "Rigor," is a former New Zealand international cricketer turned high-profile broadcaster and television personality. Initially a left-arm spinner, he overcame the "yips" to reinvent himself into a highly patient, technically disciplined opening test batsman for the Black Caps. After retiring from cricket in 2004, he built a massive career in media, co-hosting The Crowd Goes Wild, The AM Show, and anchoring all seasons of Three's reality series The Block NZ until its axing in 2024. Following the closure of his main broadcasting roles, he transitioned to a corporate career as a financial advisor for Forsyth Barr
