Rentaro, now a promising college sprinter, has grown up since they last met four years ago. However, he's currently taking a break from running due to an injury. Unwilling to return home, Rentaro ends up staying with Arata temporarily. Years ago, Arata realized his feelings for Rentaro were more than friendship and left his hometown, unable to face the emotions Rentaro unknowingly stirred in him.
