Saeko wa Omou

"The obsession to 'be loved' transforms into something monstrous." Saeko is an office worker who has spent her entire life in the shadows, never able to become the "protagonist" of her own story. Even after joining a publishing company and producing a hit as the editor for a novelist she admires, she spends her days feeling empty, never loved by the one person from whom she truly craves recognition. As her sadness, misery, and frustration continue to mount, her long-held obsession finally transforms her into something "no longer human"...! (Source: Shogakukan, translated)
