Arthur is a narcissistic young director obsessed with his ambitious science fiction film, in which Platane, an evolved human, faces a conspiracy in a future where everything seems perfect. Years later, Miriam becomes a successful director, while Arthur never made his film. Too late, he realizes that what he really lost was her friendship.
