Khalish's parents want her to take over Madrasah Mujahidah, but she refuses because she has her own dream of becoming a Sharia lawyer and championing women's empowerment. Although Emir is initially reluctant, he goes through with the marriage because he is an obedient son to his mother. After 4 years of marriage, Emir finally gains Khalish's trust and love, and they are expecting their firstborn child. However, Khalish later discovers that Emir actually has a secret lover named Seira (played by Siti Hariesa).
