Stuttgart 21 - The construction site of the century (2026)

Germany’s most expensive major project: the new Stuttgart Central Station. For some, it is economically nonsensical and riddled with planning errors. For others, it is an impressive testament to German engineering. The only problem is: trains still aren’t running there. Why is construction taking so long? Why is Deutsche Bahn building the station at all? This documentary provides the answers. A look back at more than 30 years of Stuttgart 21.
