Bottom of the Ninth (2002)

Forget the overpaid, overhyped major leagues. The real spirit of baseball is alive and well in the minors, as this stirring documentary of the New Jersey Somerset Patriots can attest. Chronicling the minor league team for one season, this film offers a unique look into America's favorite pastime. Oscar-nominated director Charles Braverman scored a Directors Guild nomination for this real-life Bull Durham story.
