The Compromise (1986)

Mehdi, a talented and idealistic young architect, falls into the trap of money. His partner Leila, a social worker inspired by his progressive ideas, refuses to follow him down a path of endless compromise. Set against the backdrop of the Moroccan bourgeoisie and social conflict, her uncompromising stance ultimately drives the couple to a breaking point.
